You can purchase a shirt from Movie Geek Tees via PayPal, or with a major credit card through PayPal.
1.2 Do you take Money Orders or Personal Checks?
Sorry, we only PayPal and credit card orders through PayPal.
1.3 I used PayPal. Why does my payment need time to clear?
It's because you ordered using the "eCheck" method, which PayPal requires several days to clear. If you're confused about this, I suggest contacting PayPal for clarification. Note that we must wait for payments to clear before we can ship orders.
2.1 How much is shipping to the USA?
Shipping to the USA is a flat $5 rate, which covers the price of First Class Mail, packaging, tracking, and handling. Shipping then goes up according to the number of shirts you buy. You can save money on shipping for larger orders by contacting us, ordering a multi-shirt deal, or applying a discount code at checkout.
2.2 How much is shipping to the UK, Canada, or Australia?
Most single shirt shipments outside the US is a flat $9 rate, which covers the price of Air Mail, packaging, and handling. Two shirts get Global Priority Mail treatment for $15. Shipping then goes up according to the number of shirts you buy. You can contact us for details.
2.3 How much is shipping to Italy and New Zealand?
Italian and New Zealand orders must use Global Priority Mail in order for orders to get there safely within 1-3 weeks. We charge $13.50 for 1-4 shirts. Sorry, customs always seems to delay orders to these countries!
2.4 How long do shipments take to arrive?
We usually ship all orders every Saturday unless specifically requested to ship earlier. US orders take from 2-3 business days to arrive, while non-US orders usually take anywhere between 1-2 weeks. If you live in Italy or New Zealand, orders have been known to take several weeks to arrive.
2.5 Hey, I ordered my shirt last Sunday. Why isn't it here yet?
Again, we usually ship all orders every Saturday. If you place your order after the cutoff point, we won't be able to ship it until the following Saturday. If you need your order shipped sooner, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your request.
2.6 Can you ship my shirts overnight?
Sorry, we can only ship your Priority Mail shirts earlier than Saturdays if you personally request it, and it will still take 1-3 business days to arrive.
2.7 My international order hasn't arrived yet. Where is it?
Multiple shirt orders ship internationally with USPS Global Priority mail, which usually takes a week to arrive from the day we ship it (usually Saturdays).
If you ordered a single shirt, we use USPS Global Air Mail in order to keep shipping costs reasonable. Global Air Mail usually takes a little over a week, but experience has shown that it can take up to 2-3 weeks to arrive, and in some cases, longer if your country's customs likes to hold onto small tee shirt packages from the USA. Unfortunately Global Air Mail does not have a tracking number, only a USPS Customs ID. We suggest going to your local post office and inquiring about any packages from the USA for you that may be stuck in customs.
In certain cases, if an order hasn't arrived in over a month, we can ship you a replacement shirt, but you will be responsible for the shipping costs. If you require tracking or insurance, you should be prepared to pay extra for this (around $20). You will need to contact us personally for this service.
2.8 PayPal has my wrong address! How can I make sure it goes to the right place?
Please contact us with your correct address, or else we will just ship it to the address PayPal provides us. Be sure to update your info in PayPal so future orders won't have this problem!
3.1 Do you charge sales tax on your shirts?
If your address is outside of California, there is no sales tax.
For all orders shipped to California, we charge the current sales tax rate of 9.00%.
4.1 What are the sizes of your shirts?
We ship most shirts in size Men's Small through 2XL.
5.1 What is your return and exchange policy?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and would like to exchange it for a different shirt or size, you can ship it back to us (in good, resellable condition) and we will ship you a replacement.
If you would like a refund, just ship it back (in good, resellable condition) and we will issue a full refund.
Note that we are not responsible for items that are lost in the mail or sent to a wrong address if the wrong address was provided to us. Items that bounce back to us can be resent to you, but you will be responsible for paying for shipping again. Sorry!
